Editorial Policy

How Utilumo keeps tool guidance, reference material, and original research useful, sourced, and up to date.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Utilumo content is written to help people complete browser-based work safely. The policy below explains how pages are created, reviewed, and corrected.

1. Editorial goals

  • Explain digital formats, browser behavior, privacy risks, and tool workflows in plain language.
  • Prefer practical guidance that matches what Utilumo tools can actually do in the browser.
  • Separate original Utilumo data from third-party references and clearly label methodology limits.

2. Sources and citations

Learn and reference pages cite primary sources where practical, such as standards bodies, platform documentation, security references, and official vendor documentation. When a page uses Utilumo's own data, the dataset page explains how the numbers were generated.

3. Review and updates

  • Pages include an updated date when the underlying content or references change.
  • Technical pages are reviewed against sources, tool behavior, and current browser limits.
  • Original research pages include methodology notes, limitations, and downloadable data where useful.

4. Corrections

If a page is unclear, outdated, or incorrect, contact support@utilumo.com. Corrections are prioritized when they affect privacy, security, file handling, or user decisions.
