Most Utilumo tools process text, images, PDFs, code, and other inputs directly in your browser. In those cases, Utilumo does not receive the content you paste, upload, edit, preview, convert, or download.

Tools that need server-side processing state this clearly before an upload happens.

The Utilumo browser extension is designed to run from explicit user actions such as opening the popup, using the side panel, choosing a context-menu action, or starting a screenshot or image action. It does not add telemetry, advertising tracking, remote code, or background browsing-history collection.

Utilumo processes supported content locally in your browser wherever possible. Selected text, pasted text, JSON, screenshots, images, filenames, and generated outputs are not sent to Utilumo servers by local extension features.

Two explicit actions open a Utilumo web tool with a URL as part of the request: opening a page or link in the URL Cleaner, and opening the QR Code tool for a page or link. When you choose one of these actions, the relevant URL is passed to utilumo.com as a URL parameter and is visible in your browser’s address bar. This happens only as a direct result of the action you selected.

Utilumo does not silently upload selected text, screenshots, images, files, filenames, or generated output for remote processing.

Utilumo stores preferences such as your theme, favourite tools, and recently used tool ids in browser extension storage. Some workflows also use temporary session storage for data such as a screenshot being redacted, an image being processed, or text currently being worked on. That temporary data is used only for the active workflow and is cleared when the browser session ends and during extension startup cleanup. Utilumo does not use this storage to build a browsing history or an advertising profile.

If a user-requested image action is blocked by browser security rules, the extension may ask for optional access to that one site so it can fetch and process the chosen image locally. Optional site access is not granted at install, can be revoked in the extension UI, and is not used for general browsing surveillance.

Utilumo is hosted with Cloudflare Pages, DNS, and CDN. When you visit the website, Cloudflare and the site infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser information, referrer, and security-related data.

The purpose is to deliver the site, keep it secure, debug errors, and prevent abuse. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Utilumo uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage and performance without building advertising profiles. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects minimal performance and page-load information and states that it does not track individual end users across customer sites.

Utilumo also uses Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. These services help understand indexing, search queries, impressions, clicks, technical SEO issues, and search visibility. They do not require Utilumo to place marketing cookies on your browser.

The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: improving site quality, discoverability, performance, and reliability.

Utilumo does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site marketing trackers. Essential technical storage may be used where needed for security, site delivery, or user interface preferences.

Non-essential cookies and marketing technologies are inactive unless the Cookie Policy and consent flow cover them.

If you email Utilumo, the email address, message content, and any metadata included with the message are processed to answer the request, handle follow-up questions, and document the communication where needed.

The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or, if the communication relates to a contract or requested pre-contractual step, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

• Local tool input and output is not stored by Utilumo when a tool runs in the browser.
• Browser extension content such as selections, screenshots, images, filenames, and generated outputs is not stored by Utilumo.
• When you choose an action that opens a Utilumo web tool with a URL, that request appears in technical logs like any other page request, and follows the retention below.
• Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security, operations, diagnostics, and legal obligations.
• Email messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and any reasonable follow-up or legal requirement.
• Aggregated analytics and search webmaster data may be retained in the relevant provider dashboards according to provider settings and retention limits.

• Cloudflare, for hosting, DNS, CDN, security, technical logs, and privacy-first web analytics.
• Google Search Console, for Google Search indexing and search performance information.
• Bing Webmaster Tools, for Bing indexing and search performance information.
• Email infrastructure providers, for receiving and replying to contact messages.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, Utilumo relies on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or comparable GDPR transfer mechanisms made available by the providers.

Where Utilumo processes personal data about you, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
