AI System Manifest Fields
Give each AI system a distinct name, record its purpose/provider and declared controls, and keep unknown values explicit. Export YAML or JSON for review and version control. This manifest describes settings; it does not execute a policy or verify production behavior.
Quick reference
| Field | Type / example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| schema / version | utilumo-ai-system-manifest / 1 | Working-format identifier and version; not an official regulatory schema. |
| application.name | string | The application being documented. |
| ai.systems[] | array, 1–20 records | Each record has a stable local id and a distinct name. |
| provider / purpose | string or null | Declared provider and purpose for each system. |
| user_interaction / disclosure | boolean or null | Declared direct interaction and visible disclosure; null means unknown. |
| generated_content / human_review / sensitive_decisions | boolean or null | Declared feature behavior and controls, without runtime verification. |
| data.retention_days | nonnegative integer or null | Declared application retention. Zero and unknown have different meanings. |
| scope | string | Descriptive configuration, not legal classification, executable policy or certification. |
Scope and limitsThis reference documents Utilumo’s own version 1 manifest. Legal applicability is separate from the presence of a configuration field. A consuming CI tool must explicitly implement this schema; none is installed by generating the file.

Questions
Are YAML and JSON exports equivalent?
Yes. They serialize the same record, including null unknown values and boolean Yes/No settings. Choose the format your documentation or consuming tool supports.
Are project inputs uploaded or saved?
No. These Utilumo tools keep inputs and generated records in browser memory. Download your work before closing or reloading the tab. Hosting the website itself still involves normal network requests.
