Image File Size Targets
Upload forms often ask for a file under a specific KB or MB limit. The best route is usually resize first, then use JPG or WebP quality steps.
Common targets

Exact size is not guaranteedBrowser image encoders expose quality settings, not exact byte controls. A target-size tool can try multiple exports and report whether the result is under the limit.

Why does PNG stay large?
